Ariel Phenomenon

Ariel Phenomenon is an upcoming documentary feature film directed by Randal Nickerson and produced by String Theory Productions. Åström recently completed the original score for the film together with composer Nate Walcott.

The documentary centers on the 1994 UFO mass sighting at the Ariel School in rural Zimbabwe, Africa. It includes interviews with Pulitzer Prize winning Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack, BBC reporter Tim Leach who was first on the scene, and many of the witnesses who share the lasting impact it has had on their lives.

Internment

Åström wrote the original music score for the Albanian/American co-production Internment. The feature film is directed by Kast Hasa and produced by Cinekast Production.

Internment follows an Albanian family that struggles to survive the communist regime during the 1980s. It stars Klod Hoxha, Enxhi Cuku, Kristi Baçi, Kristaq Pilo, Toni Osmani and Gramos Gashi. The film is based on true events.

Child of Grace

Child of Grace is a 2015 drama feature film, directed by Ian McCrudden. The film is based on the novel June Bug by Chris Fabry (Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. 2009) and stars Ted Levine and Maggie Elizabeth Jones .

9-year-old Katie has spent most of her life traveling the country in an RV with her father. One day she sees a portrait of herself on a missing child poster and realizes that the man she thinks is her loving father may be her kidnapper. As Katie contends with this discovery, a small-town sheriff, her grandfather, simultaneously tries to figure out the truth of her disappearance when new evidence surfaces.
