Åström wrote the original music score for the Albanian/American co-production Internment. The feature film is directed by Kast Hasa and produced by Cinekast Production.

Internment follows an Albanian family that struggles to survive the communist regime during the 1980s. It stars Klod Hoxha, Enxhi Cuku, Kristi Baçi, Kristaq Pilo, Toni Osmani and Gramos Gashi. The film is based on true events.

Child of Grace

Child of Grace is a 2015 drama feature film, directed by Ian McCrudden. The film is based on the novel June Bug by Chris Fabry (Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. 2009) and stars Ted Levine and Maggie Elizabeth Jones .

9-year-old Katie has spent most of her life traveling the country in an RV with her father. One day she sees a portrait of herself on a missing child poster and realizes that the man she thinks is her loving father may be her kidnapper. As Katie contends with this discovery, a small-town sheriff, her grandfather, simultaneously tries to figure out the truth of her disappearance when new evidence surfaces.

Eyes Upon Waking

Eyes Upon Waking is an upcoming 2019 feature film written by Andy Golub and Jennifer Scott.

Taren Foley survives her second suicide attempt within a week, and is sent from the ER to a psychiatric facility for three days of observation and analysis. Quickly realizing she has no intention of taking her life in the future, Taren alienates herself from the patients and staff, biding her time until she can be released. When circumstances force her to remain locked up all weekend, a compassionate Taren makes an effort to help her fellow patients with their issues, unaware she still neglects her own. By the time she is released on Monday, Taren has yet to feel better about her life, but there is hope that one day, she might.

Eyes Upon Waking uncovers the darkness in the minds of those who suffer from their emotions, yet shows how light can be found with the right kind of help. It stars Jennifer Scott, as well as veteran actors Joe Estevez and Edie McClurg.

Mango Bajito

Mango Bajito is a 2015 feature film written and directed by Juan Castillo. It features an original music score by Henrik Åström.

Lured by the notion of a quick buck (the proverbial ‘Easy Fruit’ or ‘Mango Bajito’ in Spanish), three young people decide to kidnap the son of a rich family, and hide out in the wild mountains of the Dominican Republic – until everything that can go wrong, does.

Cowboys and Indians

Cowboys and Indians is a 2013 feature film from Epiphany Pictures. The film stars Ian McCrudden, Catherine Hicks and Maria Johnson and features an original score composed and performed by Henrik Åström. Åström also produced the title song of the film.

A tragic love story set in the modern West. It follows the life of Angel, a beautiful but damaged Paiute Indian woman who was lead to live desperately on the edge after having been raped. Earning a living in a topless bar called the Round-Up, Angel tries her best to raise her son, Gas, the ill-begotten son of the tragic rape. When Gas is fourteen he runs away from home and is picked up by a hard-up cowboy, Twisty, who was present on the fateful night 14 years ago. Twisty relates the tragic romance he had with his mother, elucidating many unanswered questions for the boy. The cowboy and the boy form a bond that leads them back to Angel where once re-united, and with the truth brought to light, a possible way forward is revealed.

Tiny House of Terror

Tiny House of Terror is a 2017 thriller/horror feature film directed by Paul Shapiro and starring Francia Raisa and Nazneen Contractor.

Following the mysterious disappearance of her husband, a woman gives up her large high-tech house along with the trappings of her wealthy lifestyle to move into an isolated tiny house, which turns out to be more of a nightmare than a dream when her new lifestyle puts her very life at risk.

Death Waits is an upcoming 2019 feature film by Irish director Redmond Fitzpatrick.
