Åström has scored the hit TV series  Secrets of the Viking Stone for Discovery Channel, written music for the popular  Dishonored video game franchise with composer Daniel Licht, and worked with composer Heitor Pereira on the blockbuster film The Angry Birds. Most recently he collaborated with composer Carlos Rafael Rivera on the HBO comedy series Hacks. Other projects include  Internment, an Albanian/American period piece drama, the feature film drama  Eyes Upon Waking and the sci-fi film  Radio Sky, starring Dennis Haysbert. Åström has also written music for seven episodes of the Paramount+ Limited Series  The Stand, based on the novel by Stephen King and starring James Marsden, Alexander Skarsgård and Whoopi Goldberg.
